  1. Thailand was one of our choices for post-deployment vacation, but we voted on India. Definitely can't wait to hear about what you guys have in store for Thailand, I'm sure we'll venture that way at some point in our lives :)

    1. India huh?? Cool! Can't wait to see your posts after you go! Thailand is perfect because you get so much bang for your buck. I originally wanted to do Singapore or Europe but hubby goes/has been to those places too much :(:( So I settle for riding on elephants!

  8. Thailand was awesome - I was fortunate to visit Chiang Mai, Bangkok, Phuket, and Koh Phi Phi! It was definitely a fun adventure - some of the best food I've had! If you do ride the elephants, I would recommend doing research as I've found out some of the attractions have inhumane treatment of the animals :(

    1. We are going to almost all the same places! And I'm not gonna lie, I don't know much at all about Thai food so I def need some recommendations since my palate is becoming more and more picky as I get older! And I've heard about those Southeast Asian zoos, definitely sad. But my in-laws went to a couple places that they recommended so I think we're good.

    2. I was definitely very selective about eating at the food carts to avoid food poisoning (esp in a foreign country) but I think as long as it's full cooked and it's at a place that's really busy you should be fine!
