Gray Days | Pink Wings
These pictures make me laugh a little bit...can you tell which side is my good side?? Haha!

In other news, I did that San Francisco Nike half marathon yesterday. I was so nervous doing it alone, but it was lots of fun and I would definitely recommend it. Steep price for a half marathon, but it was a one-time thing for me. I was so happy with my time too! I thought that those crazy San Fran hills would slow me down but my split time was 30 seconds faster than I had even hoped for! Must be that race-day adrenaline and the prospect of a Tiffany's necklace and chocolate at the end!  ;)

  20. Congrats on the half marathon!!! I was thinking of doing one, but the NY marathon, you need to qualify, and Boston's marathon has gotten me a bit scared (studied in Boston, hence why I'd go there) and lucky girl! Tiffany's necklace waiting for you at the finish line?? My manfriend would probably just be there with water and wings...not complaining though haha
Btw looking as adorable as ever :)

    1. Oh don't read that wrong, the Tiffany's necklace didn't come from my hubby, it was the race medal :):) That's why a lot of women love to do this particular race. Also, the Boston marathon has a qualifying time too...that is possibly the most famous marathon in the world, I know a lot of runners who strive to get into that one. That would be seriously awesome if you did one of those, I would be very jelly!

  25. These shots are gorgeous and so are you! I love that skirt too, I don't wear skirts often so when I see them styled well like you did here I feel inspired to go buy more!! Way to go on the half marathon! I grew up in the Bay Area, so I'm very familiar with those pesky hills you mentioned. Yikes!

    1. Well it's interesting because where I live there are hardly any hills to practice on so I was doing stairs like crazy in an effort to train! And then you go to San Fran and it's just all hills.
Thanks for stopping by, you are very sweet!

  26. Look at any fashion blogger, they all have a good side! You are really pretty and for some reason I don't even think your bad side is all that bad. Good for you for doing the half marathon, I have NEVER done a marathon, half or otherwise, I would just be scared to death of making everyone wait for me at the finish line!

Thanks for linking up to the #reasonstodress linkup as usual this combo is killer. you are the first person I've seen with this standard fit and flare skirt in a heritage fabric...it is gorgeous!

    1. Haha I am always (and by always I mean the measly two times I have done a race) worried about the same thing, but once the gun goes off it is just all fun and games! If you are interested at all you should try it. I feel like most races are actually geared towards the recreational runner, offering things like chocolate and popsicles for you to enjoy along the course haha!
